The task was to help D-Vitum gain recognition in the highly competitive market of vitamin D supplements. I also wanted to integrate all D-Vitum variants under one brand umbrella of clear values and benefits. Finally, the aim was to build trust towards the young Polish pharmaceutical company, Oleofarm, which produces D-Vitum.
The spot with Dorota Gardias was the first in a long-running campaign. As a weather anchor, she was expected to tell uncomfortable truths – because Poland lacks sunshine, Poles lack vitamin D.
The TV spot focused on the physical benefits of D-Vitum, while social media was used to convey the emotional and mental aspects connected to Vitamin D.
After significant media spending, the D-Vitum brand became the market leader. It was the number 1 selling vitamin D in flaxseed oil and the number 1 selling vitamin D for infants in 2019, accordingly to Omnibus data.
